Horse Ballet

I MADE IT TO THE OLYMPICS..... !!!  Well ... I was spectator... at the Hong Kong site for the Beijing Olympics. 

I watched Olympic Dressage  ( kinda like a horse dance competition) which was quite interesting.  Actually it is sometimes referred to as Horse Ballet...and people all over the world came to cheer on their country and riders.  Some dressed up in costumes that even rivaled those at the Rugby 7s! Seriously!   Anyway when the riders are competing the whole stadium is completely quiet and flash photography is prohibited so as not to disturb the rider and the horse... actually a few horses did get spooked and didn't follow their set routine.  All in all it was a wonderful and educational experience! 

I was just waiting for a rider to have some scratching mixed into their music....haha

BTW ... they sell hot dogs and beers.... AT A REALLY GOOD PRICE !!! Especially considering that it's the OLYMPICS!!!!!
