Sundays. Days that i sometimes refer to as 'lonely sundays'. I know its kind of a blue statement, but this is truely how i feel. I guess not having 'family sunday' or pets to pamper sorta lead to such melancholy feeling. But it certainly shouldnt lead to solutions such as to have a baby or hang out with your in-laws! Instead ppl often chose to go to the beach, play some ball, or simply bum around home watching season finalies. Sad fact is i dont have an ideal sunday, for it marks the end of weekend and here comes monday- not that i have an office job, but saturday is just so much better :D Anyways, here are a few of my sundays i d like to share, enjoy!
Repulse bay, hk - this beach was certainly packed with ppl, not only beach goers, but fully clad mainland tourists, not the most appealing sight to be honest, plus loud speakers every five minutes, i guess this is what late beach goers have to bear, otherwise i would have gone to beaches further away from city. Nevertheless, the sunset is breathe taking still. Time spent: 2 and 1/2 hours sleeping/ sun bathing
Changsha, Hu Nan - one of my work weekends, shooting a tv programme in random provinces, kinda part of my life. The premise surrounding me is hugh, probably up to 30-40 acres, took the owner 5 years to build, solely for dining purposes! What a spender. Tea experience there is undoubtedly a 4 star. Time spent: 3 hours non stop shooting
MGM hotel/casino, macau - one of those casino giants found in the gambling city of macau. I particularly enjoyed the center plaza view, for its a success reviving the portugese colonial culture. Besides, I won 800.00 hkd that day :) Pity that besides the casino, there arent many ppl dining or using the facilities, which is worrying to the future of gambling big brands. Time spent: 4 hours dining/ browsing/ gambling
HK cultural exhibition center, hk art festival - wat a disappoint for its not remotely ready yet, i only got a glimpse of it seeing contractors walking in and out... nice posters tho. Time spent: 1 hour walking in and out |
