2009.

2009 is special... just for myself and ppl around to remember wat we've done and achieved.

-- 4x singing performances (to be audited), including 4 concerts, i think i have nearly performed 300 songs

-- started to sing my own compositions and well, danced (i did learn dancing for like 8 years just dun bother to mention =])

-- 1 movie, 3 MC jobs (which are all big)

-- much less star avenue shows, but played piano for stephen and myself as practice

-- gained fat (yes fat, not weight), tried to eat less, but become fatter

-- quited Modern and entered Icicle, i learned a lot here, and got the chance to know much more ppl in China and how they work

-- still always sick (due to lack of rest)

-- restarted studying of LLB, taken University of London external programmes, so difficult and i may fail!! (Oh i forget to register for the exam!)

-- Ben got a new job finally and it's happy to see him become happier (and that means a lot to me, haha =] )

-- got many new good friends, in particular you the kings and queens and i love to play with u guys. thanks to be supportive

2 shows in New World Center

Ben's arm not recovered so things not that easy for me

5 performances in housing estates, most importantly, performed on 2.14 with ben and teoong and joanna and that was a very memorable experience, and sweet

Estate shows. Performed with Ben and Teoong at Prof Yip's event in Fanling where we actually got lost =]

My first personal mini-live. thanks everyone for attending, that must be one of the most memorable days of my life. thanks ben for everything, Gigabyte on band, Scott for guitar and Teoong for violin and Benita for Saxophone...

Estate shows. and it was an exciting month that i entered 快樂女聲網易賽區30強. it's nothing easy. so many great singers in mainland and they look so good. the best recognition of my hardwork.

June

2nd concert, this is with a new band. the show's not good enough i know, but thanks everyone for coming. it's hard to memorize like 20 songs of 80s and i did it (mayb just because i can't see the words clearly when i'm singing)

July

Estate shows and SUPERNOVA. it was a good memory dancing and singing with everyone in DBS but in fact it turned out to be a bad experience. we all take taxi in the morning and get to the place 'coz we're allowed transportation expenses but no one talked to us about that anymore after repeated chasing, particularly after we performed in the semi and my performance used as part of the promotional video. hey boys and girls, this is actually just basic respect. anyways...mayb they will get back to me soon =p

and my song impressed me the 2nd time after last year when i perform in my dad's alumni event

2 concerts held with Ben. the one in Nano is good though finally we're not paid (well, nvm friends, we're used to it), the one in Moon... okay i hope we enjoyed ourselves at least. but thanks for buying the tickets and supporting us, particularly the band members, u all are marvellous... Eugene, Yiu, PC, Teoong... and my make up, Amy and photographer Samuel... and my good friend, Stephen

I performed for the charity during lunch time as well! i mean leaving office at 1, taking taxi to the place, sing 2 songs, then taxi back, but singing to elderly really worth it.

Oct

I spent a week in Sept and 2.5 weeks in Oct in Beijing, so less shows in HK indeed. 3 estate shows only

But i also participated in Frozen, the movie, and it's interesting. let's see when we gonna watch it in 2010 =]

More shows with Tat. The best shot was the show in Olympian City. the first time i'm more recognized as a singer than an actor/MC, and thanks for the applause everyone. and i did impressed myself

sang 2 times in citywalk, thanks the audience again, thanks for dancing with me and couting down. my recognition comes from you but not the judges indeed.

i must thank everyone particularly the musicians who has assisted me in the year and paid me due respect and give me real courage to move on. particularly veegay my teacher and alan cheung the marvellous songwriter.

thanks everyone who has given me disrespect and looked down on me, makes me treasure and value what i've and know myself better, and to move on.

2010

my baby will be borne... (hey i mean my album) it's hard and tough work for me, coz i'm my record label! that means i have to "produce" the album by finding the producers arrangers for songs... choosing the songs, refining them using my limited knowledget, write the lyrics to save up money from premiums, design the design and image, and the hardest part come to budgetting... okay i dun wanna mention it any more now it's headache to me and i want to have a good sleep today =]

i would make my dream come true

i don't need to be a star, i just want to share what i love with everyone of you.

i'm alive when i'm on stage, and i need my own songs too, haaha

everyone, never forget why you sing, or why you work for sth.

because there's a meaning in everything

sometimes i get lost, even hope to escape from singing, 'coz i dunno wat the 4x shows each year is really for, particularly when we always not get paid (hopefully happen less in 2010), and we didn't sell things or so in our shows. but singing itself can recharge ppl and move ppl, that's so important

my audeinces are the only ones i need to care when i'm on stage, not other ppl's happiness or angriness.

there're so many ppl i dun have enough time to care and even say a word of thanks to, but i would like to thank everyone who appeared in my life, good or bad here.

Let's work fxxking hard!!! no matter how hard, we gonna pass, coz we've no way back to the road not taken.

i could see a fruitful 2010 coming because everyone of us is going to work hard!
