holy nightime, batman.

it is 5:06am and i just finished working on my promotional mailer for kathryn.

seeing the final product realized makes me feel so satisfied, but even more than that- it makes me so excited to get my work out there. i can't wait to be working.

speaking of which, i might have just gotten my first paying gig. if all goes well, my first legit illustration job will be done by mid-november, (along with my site? ). there is a ton of work to be done in the next little while- but i haven't felt more excited. i feel like i'm in a real good groove.

anyway, before i go to sleep, i wanted to post a small painting i did when i was in new york. looking at it reminds me of the heat, chicken gyros and japanese cable tv... (?)
