With all the controversy about the lack of diversity in #Oscar nominated films, how could the The Academy allow this to happen? As a member, I am embarrassed and outraged. This was the best we could do to include Asians? It's bad enough being ignored; now you mock us? With every studio courting Chinese financing, distribution and Asian ticket sales, you would think the Academy could avoid the film equivalent of "build a wall to keep them out and make them pay for it."

I'm actually glad that I had problems with my cable and which prevented me from seeing the show live.
