F1 Sepang or lack thereof.....

The last time I went to watch the F1 here in KL, it was the first ever one. I sat on the hillstands and went home 3 shades darker. I remember it was kinda fun.

So this year, my fab sister manages to get us some good seats plus this year, after the race, there's a Jamiroquai concert so I am sooooooo going! And go I did....

We left 2 hours before the race. the drive is normally about an hour so we thought we'd get there in due time....

one hour later.....

in the end we missed the start. notice the dark clouds looming.....

when we got there, they had gone about 17 laps...

rain is a coming....

it stopped raining so we headed to the helipad where the concert was being held...

we managed to get on a special platform reserved for those in the corporate suites where there was a buffet. unfortunately, it started to rain again so there we were eating in the rain. no pics as i had a jamiroquai poster over my head.

but i did take a couple of pics of the stage but they weren't great

jay kay was fantastic though...worth getting wet for!
