Today is International Women's Day. I've had the honor to be interviewed by @kqed_arts host Rachael Myrow to chat about gender equality and what it's like being a woman working as a professional visual artist in SF Bay Area. My part is brief; you also get to hear from other great interviewees from @thewomenwhodraw, @newyorkermag and @chroniclebooks! . Where should I start? It began with a death. Part of me was gone with it. From then on, old memories faded and life slowly rebuilt itself. When the second one arrived I was more prepared. If pain is inevitable, I will then learn to celebrate it with full embrace. Moving on only strengthens the idea of having a past you're trying too hard to forget. Just let it be. [02.27.18] . . . .
Looks like we’re all trying to migrate to a supposedly better planet. I’m there but have no idea how to find my peeps to connect. Any way to “import” a list of contacts who are on? . . . .
@phattro gave such an incredible talk to my @cca_illustration Digital Painting class today. Students are so inspired! Truly appreciate all the artists who have taken time out of their busy work schedule to share their experience and knowledge with my students. Love this community we are building. . . . .
