Gratitude and resilience have led me through all the ups and downs. My belief stays unshaken -- "Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive." Let's fill 2017 with good vibes and good art ?? . . . .
Old work done around 12 years ago. Assignment title was "I open my eyes and let others see my dream" and this was what I turned in. It was the first time I realized how much I wanted to connect with the world through visual images. Not sure how, but hoping one day I could gain wisdom like an owl through life experiences. This was also the first drawing I ever sold. Whenever I feel lost in this journey, I always think about this piece and remember my deepest dream of making art is to connect with other beings. Never lose that. . . . . .
