French Learning Experimentation

Begin watching French speaking news podcast today, ppl always say that if you were being dumped in a place where ppl speaks a totally unfamiliar language, you would be able to communicate in that language after 3 months' stay in that place. In fact, I used to be able to speak conversational French when I was around 18 or so but unfortunately that was like over 10 years ago and I havent really keep in tough with this beautiful language for many years, and now by listening to the French news everyday, I am kinda experimenting if I could recap some of my French back after the 3 months trial !!!
