Back in HK. That's my status. Man, to be honest, I really didn't know if I would be back. But how could i resist the magnetic pull of these guys???
My boys even surprised me at the airport when I got back!
And, yes, they did greet me with a scale and a Whopper.
EDIT: and also thank you to the gorgeous sexy lovely and thoughtful Vicky Chanfor driving the boys to the airport and then driving us all back!!! Love you!
But, I am jumping ahead. Let's go back to December 7, 2008.
You KNOW you are certified Hong Kong when you use the infamous checkered paper bag as luggage...
So when I got home, obviously, my car battery had died. And obviously, there was another car parked behind mine, and obviously it's battery was dead, too. So at 6am, and me being obviously jet-lagged, this is what it took to get my car up and running...obviously.
After two weeks back in LA, I was finally getting used to being back in the states. I must admit, it was a strange sensation being home but not feeling at home. Know what I mean?
Anyway, then I REALLY flew home back to Atlanta, and when I got home...my whole family was dressed in RED!!! WEIRD.
We spent good old fashioned quality time, and it was nice. My mom also gave me some cash, so that was nice, too!!! Thanks mom! You're the best!
So now, I'm back. And it feels good.
Love,
Simon Yin
