So here I am sitting in London, freezing my ass off. It's cold, dark and wet. I'm over here to meet a few people in the art world and to produce a couple of commissioned paintings. I have an agent here who's loaned me an incredible house to work and live in for the few weeks I'm here.
While I'm here the Frieze art fair is on, a huge art gathering in Regents Park that runs once a year just for a few days.
There is so much happening here in art, theatre and film, it's all very inspiring and a little overwhelming. Kinda makes Hong Kong seem very behind the times. But for efficiency and convenience, HK wins every time. Just getting across town in London is a nightmare whereas back home in HK it's all so quick and easy.
So, I only got here a couple of days ago so not many adventures yet other than I went out in the country and got to have a go with a shotgun, made me feel like a big strong man. grrr.
Meanwhile I hear there's a monsoon approaching HK so I'm missing some awesome surf! argh! (I'm totally addicted to surfing in case you didn't know). So I'm pissed off about that and I've had to leave a really cute chick behind too. Typical. Oh well, better go paint a few masterpieces and get my ass back to HK soon!
