Lately I have a bit more free time on my hands, so I have made a conscious effort to explore the city of Shanghai and China more extensively. Yesterday I ventured into Pudong a.k.a. PuJersey to some. I went to Century Park which is only a 20 minute train ride outside of downtown. I gotta say, it was like entering a whole other world. It's no Central Park, nor is it Yoyogi, but I was quite impressed. The only downside is that there is a ¥10RMB fee, this is extremely cheap, but it feels wrong to pay to gain access to a public park, anyhow I feel that I will be spending a lot more time there this summer.
