and the beat goes on.

After close to 24 hours of travel that took me from Shanghai, to Beijing, and finally to the familiar halls of Newark EWR airport in lovely New Jersey.   I am finally home...well I really don't know where I should call home anymore, hmmm.  Anyhow, I am happy to be back in the Garden State; a wonderful opportunity to visit family, friends, and my record collection, which I have neglected for a number of years. 

This trip home a big task that I am taking on is the conversion of my vinyl collection from analog to digital.  No small duty, but I got a few new devices to help me out;  a Stanton USB connectible turntable (surprisingly decent), and a program called Audacity. I will lock myself in the attic for the next few days and make magic happen!   It has only been 24 hours thus far.  I will keep you posted on the progress.
