I haven't blogged much, and I have been even worse at keeping up my correspondences with people whom I consider good friends and therefore easily deserving of replies.
Excuses, in short:
I moved, and because I have no family or domestic help, whatever needs doing in my house (and my life) either gets done by me or not at all. So I have been running a million errands, unpacking, 'decorating,' and doing lots of manly stuff like replacing sink parts and other assorted household sh*t.
Also, my new space is different from my old one; there is no good place for a computer that lends itself to typing. So I don't use it as much at home.
My desk at work is covered in WORK that needs to be worked on, so I guess you see where that goes.
Between exercising, moving, and rehearsals for what is to be COCKFIGHT's inaugural gig tomorrow, I have managed to irritate the daylights out of my left forearm. Typing hurts.
I'm not even sure I'll make the gig. Which sucks. Or doesn't; my hand is so messed up I can barely play anyway.
I'm off to the doctor this evening.
But I wanted to say to everyone that I'm sorry I have been so quiet. Though I bet some of you are grateful.
I promise I will take pictures of my new home; I finally got it cleaned up and settled.
If we don't support the movies that deserve it, we get the movies that we deserve.
