This didn't last long:
Gimme a bottle of anything. And a glazed doughnut... To go.
I kind of enjoy the downright assaultive nature of the colors.
I use it as the wallpaper in my phone, because it has consistently made me laugh for 20 years. And that is not easy to do, as some of you well know.
It's one of the enduring (endearing?) images of the 1980s.
It comes from the opening of David Lee Roth's "Yankee Rose" video, and even as a still photo, it captures the gleeful, knowing stupidity that was the 1980s.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsC7oEjCHAM It also shows us just how far we have come in terms of what we will and won't allow in terms of characterizing others.
But I admit, the the following couplet has always tickled me:
"My doctor says I have to take a laxative!" "Not in my store you don't!"
So, I figured that I would swap out the picture of me with a picture I liked more.
Apparently, I'm the onlyone who likes it. So I've replaced it with a picture as new as yesterday.
Mostly because I didn't want people thinking that was meunder the makeup.
That would just be silly.
If we don't support the movies that deserve it, we get the movies that we deserve.
