A: In real life, they're both women.

Angie Tsang Sze Man only ever made one movie, but it was a great one. After that, she became a winning member of Hong Kong's Wushu Team:

And she got married to a very great, kind, loving (and very patient) man named Sidney Chan:

They settled into married life, which means, of course, that the inevitable was bound to happen. They had puppies:

Actually, the dog had the puppies, but it was their dog...

However, this idea must have seemed a good idea to the dog's owners, because sometime last fall, Angie became pregnant!

I have no pictures of her in this state, but this may offer a clue:

I had originally bought the shirt with Angie in mind, since, as a wushu champion and police officer, the shirt made for a very sensible warning. But Sidney liked it so much he took to wearing it, and in some way I think this may have had an influence on the proceedings.

One must also note that Sidney wearing it and Angie becoming pregnant theoretically means that Angie didn't take heed, or listen to Sidney (or his shirt). But I assure you this is not the case. Angie always listens to Sidney and is a lovely, submissive and docile wife.

And she told me if I didn't say that she would beat me like a rented mule.

She is due next month, and it is a daughter. I am looking forward to being an Uncle and watching these two very good friends of mine build a family. The first time I ever saw Angie she was 12' tall and had half her head shaved. She's shorter in real life, but she's just as much of a ball of smiling energy as she appears. Her doctor asks her to be careful and take it easy, but I don't think that she is capable of that.

Her husband is one of the kindest people I ever met and loves his wife very, very much. He is one of my best friends and will make a great father. They claim to argue when I don't see them, but when I am around them they are so loving, gentle and sweet that I have a hard time believing him.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank them and to let the world know that the luckiest child in the world is going to be born next month to the best parents she could hope for.
