I went to see Kung Fu Panda. It was entertaining, but it still wound me up at times. Still, I shall refrain from any profane ranting out of respect for the photos I include in this entry.
Vickie really enjoyed the movie, and that's all that counts.
Oddly, that's probably what she looks like in front of me, too...
Would you entrust your child to the human train wreck in the yellow shirt???
She doesn't care about John Woo, Little Tony, or Takeshi Kaneshiro. The panda, bring on the panda...
The red characters are fuzzy. She doesn't care.
Afterwards, we went to Hong Kong Records, where I bought another Kung Fu Hustle Limited Edition box set. For HK$300. Sad, really, that 3 years later, they still haven't sold out a limited edition of a Stephen Chow movie. It says something about the local audience.
I bought Vickie some VCDs of Shrekand Garfield, because I didn't think it would be fair to buy something and leave her empty handed.
What a great kid.
If we don't support the movies that deserve it, we get the movies that we deserve.
