The peace and joy comes through even in the pictures. Now THIS is about as far as you can get from the dog-eat-dog world you just came from. Hopefully, you can find your own inner peace and take it with you back out into the world. Monasteries can be like giant batteries, the religious who live, work and prayer there generate and store great positive energy. But it is also good that the rest of us can recharge our smaller batteries and then take that energy back into the world we live in and offer it to the people we come into contact with everyday.
