Some pics got deleted in the last blog. Not sure what happened, but they're up again.
Anyway, before I continue, let's refresh:
1) Got lost in Shunde.
2) Found Shannon at the press conference:
3) Ate pig for lunch.
4) Visit Bruce's hometown and watch the translator do some crazy david blaine magic in the alleyway:
5) Alex (who works with Shannon) admires the temple:
6) Shannon gets treated to a celebration in the new park that honors Bruce:
After the warm welcoming, we had to say goodbye and drive Shannon over to guangzhou for her final stop.
We were greeted with plenty of refreshments and snacks that nobody ate. The power shut off causing a temp black out. Everybody quickly whipped out the iphones flaslight, which barely did anything. Thanks to samsung for the awesome Omnia phone cause its flashlight uses the bulit in camera flash and it lit up the entire room.
Actually, we were at a location where a Bruce Lee statue was being built. The guys were explaining to us the amount of effort they have put into creating this huge figure. They wanted Shannon to inspect and give opinions of a project that has been in the making for nearly 3 years.
Here's a little preview:
Awesome!! I was pretty floored.
The face looks really detailed...especially the eyes.
The following is one of my fav pics:
Shannon circles the statue of her father inspecting every detail.
These are the guys that were involved in the project. Fantastic work!
After givin' some tips to the guys about the finishing touches of the statue, we were on our way home! All the Snacks and refreshments were taken and eaten in the car along the way. hahaha.
Ahhh...we made it back home!!
I'd like to thank Shannon and Alex for letting me tag along for this awesome trip. Thanks to Mr.ASS for some of the snapshots. Thanks to Samsung for a bitchin' phone with bitchin' pictures. Thanks to oriental daily newspaper for reporting the trip.
Most of all, thank you guys for checkin' it out. Make sure you leave plenty of messages for Shannon! Let's Get HER on the SitE!!!! hahaha.
Hope you guys enjoyed the pics. I'll be back tomorrow for some news about my music project. I have a lot of explaining to do!!
