Some people turn their noses at confinement food - but my grandma somehow makes black sauce, ginger, sesame oil and fish work into into a comforting, magical melt-in-your mouth texture of a fish dish! And her soups are double boiled for at least two hours so that the chicken meat is still soft and falling off the bone (though all the nutrients have gone into the soup) - I am so blessed to still have my grandma able to love and care for me, as she is to have her first great grandson! ❤
