When I first started in this industry, I was extremely ambitious about what I wanted to do, where I wanted to go, what I wanted to achieve. My ambition was met with criticism, being too Western with my ways and sometimes too ignorant. I've faced so much rejection, so much tension from other people, so many eye rolls every time I walked into a room. Nonetheless, I've been steadfast, making sure that people always know what is in my heart and letting my standard of work speak for itself.
