Yay! Managed to get a copy of the latest shoot I did for MuchMusic.

I shot this last month after attending an audition call which had every “type” of person anyone would have in mind. Thinking I was far from what they were looking for, I got the call the next day that I booked this lil promo. Yippie! I remember being extra lazy about trying to look young and hip, so i just wore my ooloo BUBBLEBUM t-shirt and they loved it! I had a great time and everyone was nice and friendly (that’s Canada for ya!).

I also got to work with Matt who was the main talent in this promo. We met last summer at Total Recall and I had no idea we were working again til he sent me a text. Oops, I obviously don’t read the call sheets in detail. I met comedian Ian Lynch, one of the gay men from “ 1 Girl, 5 Gays“. We had a good exchange of our experiences as hosts and all I can remember is commenting on his awesome hipster haircut.

This was an easy shoot and we were just chilling in a boardroom playing with toy dinosaurs while the director and his team was trying to get the perfect shot. Half day shoot and lots of fun, that’s how I like it!

On a side note: I don’t remember having such a “cool” experience when I was interning at 8TV. I just remember lots of mosquito bites, super cold AC blasting and deciding if we were going to eat at The Chicken Rice Shop or at Jusco’s Italian Cafe. Ahhh good memories. Hey, we all pay our dues somewhere.
