Very Berry Strawberry

So I’ve been talking about ice cream this entire day, especially on Twitter where I’m all about Ben n Jerry’s Half-Baked. Almost every other day that I was in HK, I had BnJ ice cream in Lan Kwai Fong. There’s something about ice cream that really does cheer a person up! I would probably say that I’m a huge fan of Durian ice cream but I know it’s not always offered as a flavour in the regular places. BnJ’s Chocolate Fudge Brownie is probably my favourite flavour of all time with Honey Teddy Graham from Baskin Robbins as a far second.

I haven’t been in the best moods lately and I think this birthday business is probably affecting me more than anything. I’ve been hiding out in my cave and just doing my own thing because I rather be alone. My girl Michie (who was recently in Star Motoring this month) kinda sensed it and decided to come over to hang out. If anyone knows Mich, she’s full of whacky ideas and never ashamed of them! After chatting about her upcoming book and her new collection for Rox/Sta, we had a scoop of ice cream to eat and and bunch more to put on our face.

Mich: C’mon when’s the last time your face had some ice cream?

If you can’t beat them, you might as well join them. This really put a smile to my face with a whole lotta giggles inbetween. The ice cream was obviously melting on our face as we were putting it so we started using ice cubes to keep them cool.. but that failed as well. She started talking about how we can use plain yogurt and all these fruits and oats on our face to be healthy, but I’d probably opt to eat them instead.

We used Very Berry Strawberry Ice Cream for the strawberries’ anti-oxidating qualities. I don’t think what we did is a proven home remedy for a quick facial but I can guarantee we had lots of fun doing it!
