The Black Widow – XIII.2 (Behind-the-Scenes)

Writing an overdue post on my episode with XIII. Aptly titled The Black Widow, the twists and turns of the show will reveal to you what it means. Got another chance to work with the crew and was practically there almost everyday of the episode. This meant I got a chance to get to know some of the familiar faces and meet other actors and actresses. Check the pics out below: 

A pseudo-blurry shot of Shannon Kook and I. You may recognize this South African actor from Degrassi and other television shows in Canada. He’s definitely going to be a face you’ll start to see very soon!

After an arduous scene, Roxane is giving me some love with a shot of Coca-Cola. Roxane Mesquida plays the lead female in XIII.2. She has recently been in a few episodes of Gossip Girl and incredibly talented. We had a great time shooting our scenes which included lots of drama and action.

My make-up artist Erica who made me look pretty everyday and took care of my “friends”. If there’s one thing I’ve learnt, always be good with your make-up artist! They are the ones who can really affect your day and will be there to set your mood straight.

Jack showing me his dangerous but sexy pose on the last day of the episode. Jack Yang has booked the lead role in an upcoming film and I’m really excited for him. He brings lots of experience on set and is dedicated to the work.

Last shot of the day with director Pascal Laugier. He’s such a fantastic director with incredible vision. This episode would mark his first time directing television and I’m glad to have worked with him.
