So this is Part 2 of my wonderful Niagara Shoot. (you can read Part 1 here) Most of these are taken on the last day of the shoot which began at 6am (practically 5am because of the time change) and ended after dinner with a long drive back to Toronto.
The majestic Niagara Falls. I came here once before with my old roommate Christine who graciously hosted me during Thanksgiving weekend oh-so-many years ago. The sunrise was absolutely stunning and we had mere minutes to get the shot. The crazy winds posed a challenge but we nailed the shot!
Bachelor Aaron and I posing for what I call our Engagement Series. After a couple days in, every time we were taking shots together, it felt like one of those “Save-The-Date” photoshoots. You can’t tell but we both have runny noses and his fingers are nearly frozen from taking these pictures!
He keeps pawning off his breakfast apple to everyone. I just had to take a picture for memory’s sake. No Aaron, we don’t want your apple!
Did you know Jurassic Park lives in Clifton Hills? Not really, but this lil mini-golf course had some impressive dinosaurs lurking around!
We sat on the Ferris Wheel enjoying the beautiful scenery. Aaron and I plus 3 cameras taking videos/photos of us. It really is the most unromantic thing ever!
Another one of our Engagement photos as we were sneaking a shot of the fountain at Galleria. I felt like a ho cuz I was wearing knee-high boots and Aaron looked like a pimp cuz he was dressed in a suit. Most people that gamble at the Falls just come in with sweatpants and sneakers. We def stuck out like a sore thumb!
Inn on the Twenty is located a few kms away from Niagara in a little town called Jordan. Once again we stopped by for some delicious food at the restaurant and later on more engagement photos down the boulevard. By this time, the word ‘AMAZING’ had been overused to the point that it lost all meaning.
We finished the night off at the Skylon revolving restaurant. These restaurants are fun, I went to the one in Paris and Vancouver’s got one too! The owner of the Skylon bought the entire crew a meal and I didn’t hold back this time, I ordered a delicious Surf/Turf dinner = Steak + Lobster.
We took one final group photo at the bottom of the tower super imposed with the view of Niagara Falls. We said our goodbyes and prepared for the hour-long drive home. I went back with producer extraordinaire Angela and had a great chat about relationships and life on the traffic-free highway.
What a great weekend shoot, now I can’t wait to see how the spot turns out!
