Red Tomato Cover Interview

Realized that I didn’t put this interview up on my blog yet!

Met the editor at a Clarins event and we chatted about my heritage – what kind of Hokkien I was. Thankfully my parents who are both Hokkien have told me more about my ancestry which goes beyond dialects.

After the interview, the editor told me that the managing director of this paper is one of my mom’s ex-colleagues more than 40 years ago. They had lost contact and he realized I was her daughter. What a small world, and I guess he must have put 2 and 2 together because they got reunited after this article! What a story huh?
