(Christmas in Lan Kwai Fong w TLo)
I can’t believe the city trekking I’ve done in the past couple months.
Fine, I’m not exactly flying outside of my SEA region but it’s definitely been crazy and hectic. The worst part about travelling is probably the packing and then the waiting but I always see there’s always gold at the end of my rainbow!
I’ve been staying at my cousin’s place in SG and its been fantastic with a few meetings that hopefully went quite well! (crossing fingers) I wake up to children gathering at this very quaint neighbourhood which reminds me when I used to stay in Vancouver, with billowing trees and community centres just around the corner. Feels like the start of an adventure that will only get crazier…
I’m heading back to KL for a couple days with the Stylo/F1 events… and of course a last minute check up with my girlies before I embark on my trip to HK this Friday. HK is quite special as I remember attending Woodlands Playschool as a small child. The first on-stage performance I ever had was when I was 4 years old, dressed as a little snowball with my fellow schoolmates. I wish I could scan some of the pictures that are etched in my memory but I guess its time to make new memories!
Last time I was in HK, only one word can come to mind: BLUR. The kind of partying was definitely a big bang to the year including a fab charity party at the W Hotel. I’m super keen on meeting new people and excited about this new leg of the race. I definitely hope this will be a Detour that’ll be as challenging as my Roadblocks in the past few months. I know I may not be racing for a million dollars, but I’m chasing something that’s worth more than a million bucks-my dreams!
Care to be part of it?? I’m defn lookin for new friends in HK!
