In tha ‘Jing!

I’m currently in Beijing shooting a sci-fi genre flick. With a good referral, I was networked with one of the producers of this film and was asked to audition. I’m really glad I did because the role was initially supposed to be for a caucasian, Linda Hamilton type of character but I tried giving it a different take and the director liked it! Yay!

So I can’t say too much about it but I got flown out to Beijing on Sat afternoon and had a quick dinner before I could recede back into my hotel room. We will be shooting in the outskirts of the city so the producers put me up in this old-style refurbished Chinese suite and all I wanted to do was soak in the bathtub. Which felt amazzzziinnggggg!!! Why have I not done this sooner?

I’m off to see a couple good friends in town and explore a little bit more with the short amount of time I have out here. I got some good news from the agent and if I book this other role, I’ll be having a great scene with and A-lister! Hopefully the universe lends an ear to my hopes and dreams!
