My first Her World Cover!!

This summer procrastination has truly got the best of me! But I’m really trying to get out of this daydream and start putting energy back into being productive again. Anyway, here’s my latest cover with Her World Malaysia along with a few photos and the article.

I sat down with Siew Ching and basically gave her one of my most candid interviews ever. My story isn’t that special or tragic or lucky, but it is my story and I take full ownership over the decisions and choices I’ve made in my life. It also marked a point of transition in my life where you can’t make excuses because of age. Actually no one after the age of 18 (or 19 in Canada) should be able to make any excuses. You are no longer a minor and you are held accountable for your actions.

But then again, my 20s were absolutely a way to keep fighting, to keep hustling and to keep surviving. I’m a big goal setter and I set high goals that are rarely within reach, even for a bionic person but I still try to keep my sights set on heights. Moving around to different cities really made me get an understanding of who I was and who I would become. I always loved a good challenge and even though things never really worked out for me, I would still be glad that I learnt from it.

I’m still getting used to the idea of embracing this new decade and I want to try even more things and have more experiences. What will be the next challenge in my life? Hmmm…. guess I’m still figuring that one out!
