GLAM May 2011 – Generation Next

I think its safe to say that every girl in Malaysia dreams of landing on the cover of Glam. Well I know for a fact that I felt that way. It was an absolute honour to be gracing the front cover alongside the beautiful girls who are moving and shaking the industry in the country with their ingenue and talent. God can u wake me up now? Is this really my life?

Glam is a high-fashion Malay magazine and it was actually the first Malay magazine I’ve ever shot for (summore i cina oso). The photographer was Bustamam and he shot my first ever FHM cover 3 years ago and still remembered me as his FHM girl. Well we’ve changed alot since then and I respect his amazing work for GLAM. Undoubtedly, the styling team of Wei Chun and Sheng/Olivia meant that the art direction would be executed well.

All of us ladies were dressed in Burberry’s infamous trenchcoats and I got to wear the one with the spikes. Before the shoot I only really knew Lisa (as she’s one of my co-hosts for MyEG Xtra Time) but even so, i rarely exchange much words with her cuz we are allocated to different segments. But I got to meet some great personalities including the petite firecracker Ummi Nazeera who’s been gaining popularity for her role in the KRU Blockbuster hit – Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa. I was laughing and cracking up with her and her bro Nazeem (who runs Musa KL) the entire time.
