Beauty Editorial for Lisa Magazine

I had a great opportunity to shoot with an awesome beauty photographer and work with a kick-ass make-up artist for my first beauty editorial in HK. I guess this week is all about firsts and having an opportunity like this was amazing. Sometimes I feel like I have such an identity crisis with my profession because I’m in HK working as a model but actually scouting for acting/hosting work… SHHHH!! My comp card is a bunch of FHM/Stuff pictures put together and its all heavily photoshopped that I wonder if I can actually get work with it. I really am desperate to take new pictures but a little too shy to ask. The make-up artist shared a Good Samaritan moment with me as he picked me cuz i needed  a little more variety in my comp! (What a sweetheart!)

So you can really see my excitement when I was booked as a model and not as Sarah Lian. My makeup artist Chester was a Shu Uemura make-up artist and his fluid skills were so amazing that I found myself looking at the mirror and not even recognizing myself. I can’t wait to see how the final results looked!!
