Back in Beautiful Gastown

Just before winter casts a shadow over Canada, I thought I’d post a few images from a shoot I did back in August. The trip back to Vancouver proved to be extremely positive for me filled with meetings, interviews, shoots and auditions. Not to mention reconnecting with my lil bro who’s been stationed in our hometown since all of us siblings have placed ourselves in different countries. Still a highlight

Karm from VancityBuzz helped set this up with the assistance of photographer Chris Naidu. We didn’t have the biggest window to shoot from Sun-up to Sunset but we did really well. Gastown has changed so much and the areas surrounding the city are getting refurbished, the homeless people loitering around East Hastings aren’t as many as they once were. Stylist Claudia Da Pontejoined in and I absolutely loved what she pulled, plus introducing some great Vancouver fashion spots. What a great time – not to mention the flawless makeup by Ghassan Shanti.

Awesome team work! The beauty of the city still knocks my socks off. Maybe I’ll call Vancouver my home again someday.
