Artistry: Global Art of Mixing

I hosted a major major event this past weekend, called Artistry: The Global Art of Mixing.

This was definitely an anticipated event as the Ying Yang Twins, Fatman Scoop and a few other notable acts - Dominique Tsai & Homies from TW were going to perform. The entire Bukit Kiara Indoor Arena was made to look like a club and were completely successful for that matter! People started pouring in and the VIPs were hanging out in their respective areas. I managed to get a few pictures backstage, while we were all patiently waiting for our turn on stage!

Of course, Mr. Terry Tye Lee who was helping out Dominique Tsai get acquainted with the city of KL.

Highlights: I dont even know if this was an actual highlight but Ivory and I were trying to hype up the crowd and he suddenly pulled a fast one on me, he said I could rap and proceeded to beatbox infront of thousands of patrons…then encouraged them to chant me on. I pulled out a few lines but shamefully declined - Ivory however, was amazing at freestyling! Dominique had some serious power vocals and sang with Joe Flizzow on stage.

Kudos to all the international performers including Malaysia’s own One Buck Short! 

I’d like to thank Spiral who hoped and trusted that I’d do a good job on hosting their event. It was a pleasure to work with them and the PR team who delivered a spectacular show. Hope we get to work together in future events again - then again, our meetings were so damn fun and enjoyable hahaha it would be even more fun to collaborateagain. Also, my managers and PA who made sure I was prepared each time I went out on stage.

Now…. what’s next?
