Recently, my buddy and I became a photographer for a day. We walked around in shanghai, and tried to snap something special about the city. unfortunately, the weather wasn’t too good, we could only walk around some streets and some allies. After, we went to a old school camera shop, and it was definitely worthwhile for a visit.
Finally, it rains in Beijing. I wish tomorrow would be a nice and sunny day.
It has been more than half a year since I moved to Beijing and have realized that it is very rare to see blue sky here. It has been grey for more than 7 days already and it is always like this. I really want to take a vacation and go to L.A. or Tibet.
There are lots clothing stores in beijing, but not many of them are unique. Mess Beijing store, located in Dongcheng area, is one of the stores that is very unique. Mess has carried many brands and Subcrew is on of them. Also, Mess Beijing hosts events regularly. And they have confirmed the invitation of graffiti artist, Eric Haze, to graffiti in their Mess Beijing store. All the graffiti lovers should definitely stay tuned!
Japanese multi-media designer Maico Akiba has collaborated with a well-kown 3D comupter graphics artist Hiromisu akiba and held an exhibition called “M&M” (Maico Akiba/ MOGraphixx). This exhibition is held in LCX Art Gallery in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. Do not miss out if you are interested!

WORKAHOLICS is a characteristics for Hong Kong people. Almost all the people I know are workaholics and they love their jobs. We added 24/7/365 to emphasize the message.
To celebrate the opening of WOAW POP UP STORE, WOAW has collaborated with some of the famous brands in the eyewear industry, and Subcrew by Mikli is one of it.
This time we have used “HALF DAY” from our “I SEE A BEAUTIFUL WORLD” collection as the collaborated item. We have chosen to use a matte black material for the frame with a little of red in the bottom. Also, WOAW logo is both on the glasses and on the handle of the frame in order to increase the value of this collaboration.

Fix Gear has already transformed from a trend into a culture. The population of fix gear fanatics has gradually increased as well, even some of my friends have used their hobbies to invest into their business. Oryx is a perfect example. They started their business online, and now they open a store so that all the fix gear fanatics can gather around here. Another fix gear shop in Beijing!

Recently, there is a lot of activities in eyewear industry. First it was Ocularplus, then it was WOAW, and this time is Alain Mikli opening in Tsim Sha Tsui Harbour City. The founder of Alain Mikli, Mr. Alain Miklitarian, was there for the opening and showed everyone the style and attitude towards eyewear. Of course, Alain Mikli Asia CEO, Mr. Chung, was there too.
Also, our Subcrew team has attended this event. Sam@Subcrew and Frankie@Subcrew and some models have revealed the Subcrew by Mikli collection.
