This season Opening Ceremony (New York) and Lane Crawford (HK) will do a one month cross over collection in at their IFC location in Hong Kong and also in their Beijing store. Even though Opening Ceremony is from the US their founders Humberto Leon and Carol Lim were actually inspired to create their own line while visiting HK on a shopping trip. This inspiration led them to open successful shops in Los Angeles, Tokyo, and online. Coming back to HK and doing this crossover project is their way of paying tribute to the city's fashion that inspired them.

It should be interesting to see an outside brand work on such a large collection across their whole store. The collaboration will include their popular Chloë Sevigny line, Rodarte line, and a retail space that will be turned into a Broadway stage. There will also be some three way crossover exclusives with 8 designers including Alexander Wang, Band of Outsiders, Suno, Carven, and Pamela Love too.  The four week store in HK will start April 14th and the Beijing store will launch April 16th so check it out!
