One of the many things I love about New York City is the myriad of activities that happen all at once at any certain time.
For example, last night was the official Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Lincoln Square and big Winter's Eve Celebration. My ex partner Christina and some other friends were performing at the celebration.
The city blocked off a few streets between 68th and Columbus Circle and had a few open air performances and food tasting tents.
It was a nice chilly 51 degree evening and I got to rock out with Kevin Bacon.
Yes, THAT Kevin Bacon
Maybe a lot of you don't know this but the actor Kevin Bacon is in a band with his brother Michael
called The Bacon Brothers (simple but easy)
You may read this and go, oh great...another actor wanting to be a musician.
Go check them out, you might be pleasantly surprised. I know I was.
It was freezing but Kevin still manages to tear it up on a harmonica
Nice mix of country, soul, rock and funk!
Girls after my own heart, Brenn and Christina
A bluegrass jam band with a bunch of kids dancing to the tunes
Ice Sculpture demonstration
A really cool art installation inside the Time Warner Building
Another fun evening in New York City.
