Well guys, I missed you all but I'm finally back! Actually, I've been back for a week but I'll explain in my next blog exactly what I have been doing in the past 7 days since my return from the Land of OZ!
So here's the RECAP of MY SISTER'S 18th BIRTHDAY : (Pictures to follow suit in next coming days!)
THURSDAY, 28th of JUNE
Caught QANTAS 4:00pm Flight from Shanghai - Sydney
FRIDAY, 29th of JUNE
08:00am - Arrived in sunny SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA
11:00am - Finally got home - Ate, relaxed, ate, slept
18:00 - My middle sister, Gel, & brother-in-law briefed me on the "mission" that was to take place that night to initiate my sister into the "Adult" world! They had planned everything in detail and my role had been laid out... I was to make first the strike using "Shock & Awe"
23:59 - Got video camera ready....wet a pile of tissue paper soaking with water...
SATURDAY, 30th of JUNE
(Sisters 18th Birthday!!!)
00:00am - Slowly snuck into her room where she was deep in conversation with her friend and splattered the soaking wet tissue on her face, instantly waking her up! I then gave her a sealed envelope and told her to "Read the Instructions carefully and get ready.... put your shoes on as you're going for a walk!"
00:23am - Dressed and still in "shock", my sister's intructions was clear... she was to walk all alone to the base of the Harbour Bridge (we live about a 10 minute walk from it), where she will receive further information. I then coded Gel and said "The eagle has flown", indicating the obvious!
00:35am - My sister arrived at the base of the Harbour Bridge pitch black and was welcomed by a line of Sparklers which my sister and husband had marked out her name with in Sparkers! very cool!
00:45am - My sister was then given a "chest" or "small box' with specific intructions in it... but before she could open it, it was agreed that the rest of night and next day, she had to carry it the whole time! Of course she agreed!
The first thing that the "chest" asked her to do was to drink a mini-champaigne in one! No problems there!
We then gave her the gift all of you voted for.... YES... we chose the RING!!!!
The rest of the instructions was for the next day.... or should we say, in a few hours...
01:15am - we then went back home and I gave her my additional gifts which I brought back from Shanghai :
1. Wii
2. Autograph from Jon Benn
3. Personal email and Birthday Wishes from Claude-Michel Schonberg (Composer of Miss Saigon and Les Miserables)
4. Personalised Birthday Wishes Autograph from Jackie Chan!

08:00am - we then all woke up, got ready and walked across the bridge... heading to the Four Seasons, Sydney for a Buffet Breakfast
11:30am - She was then instructed to open the next envelope in the "Chest". She was then given a gift voucher for a new Hairstyle at the hairdresses in Queen Victoria Buidling.
