September 2, 2011 Beijing - Cultures of Resistance is one of the many great indie films coming to Beijing for the first time thanks to the Beijing International Movie Festival, now in its 5th year. The festival will run from October 9-11 with screenings at YuGong YiShan, one of Beijing’s most welcoming venues for independent music and film events.
“This is a great opportunity to bring a movie like Cultures of Resistance to the people in China and I am proud to say, ‘Workers of the world, unite!’,” said Peter Sallade , BIMF Chief Volunteer and founder. “But it is just one of the many great independent films we are screening this year.”
