This is the Central Train Station of Hamburg. May I have all your attention on the track besides the platform, look carefully on the metal alloy of the track. When I was in Hamburg a week plus ago, I went through some railway and subway stations and noticed 1 common thing among all these train stations... the metal alloy of these tracks are glossy/shiny. This Hauptbahnhof Station started operation in 1906 and went through a renewal built on the beam in 1991, so I assumed it has serviced for 24 summers and 23 winters in the range of -8 degree C to 29 degree C. And the beam still look shiny, how can this be? Alright, you can say they are German made, of course best of the best, but I was in Vienna even few days before Hamburg, and I noticed the same kind of glossy/shiny metal beam on their train tracks. Let's come back to our Singapore SMRT tracks, how do they look? I wonder any local Singaporean noticed that? And how many people knows who is in-charge on the building on the tracks? It is not SMRT, it is LTA. I guess 99.999% Singaporeans don't know about this. Even SMRT is the one that responsible for the building of the tracks, but who is the authority to approve the built? It is still back to LTA. And what kind of metal alloy they used? It is all about science, there is no need to argue on this. If anything goes wrong on the train service, you blame the cause of it is due to all the people taking the train at the same time then very soon when the air pollution comes back again, are you going to tell the people not to breathe at the same time? Please if you are pig enough, doesn't mean everyone has to be pig like you.
