Documentary Project

Happy Chinese New Year! Hope everyone is doing well. Just wanted to post an update on what I've been doing lately.

Adam and I are working on a documentary on the Chinese "Joan of Arc," a historical figure from the late Qing Dynasty named Qiu Jin. Qiu Jin was a revolutionary heroine and women's rights activist who is considered China's first feminist. She was part of Sun Yat-sen's Revolutionary Alliance and a leader of a guerrilla army that tried to overthrow the corrupt Qing Dynasty.

We'll be going to China at the end of February for three weeks and doing filming in various cities (Hangzhou, Shaoxing, Beijing). We'll be in Hong Kong for a few days at the beginning of our trip. Hope to see some of you there!
