Illuminated Handbag

I was out at the Abbey Friday night and saw this girl with an illuminated handbag. I thought it was the coolest thing and asked her about it. She turned out to be Joyce Francis, the very artist who designed it. I wish I were a girl. It was a scene-stealer for a girl even at a gay bar! It's called "Iced Honey," a hard shell handbag, sold for USD$1,200 at Blue Tree in New York. It's one of Phoebe Cates' ( Gremlins) favorites. Check it out: bluetreenyc.com.
