Cutting Away

I have been focused on cutting my short documentary "A Chinese Class" which I plan to have it clocked in around 20 minutes. It will be a companion short to my other documentary 0506HK, both of which explore the theme of cultural belonging.

Everytime you write a scrīpt or edit a movie, after you have finished a happy first draft or first cut, you know there will be a time that you'll need a Teutonic shift and have to change everything, sometimes even way beyond your initial conception, to push the film to another level. That's exactly where I'm at  right now.

Cut, eat and sleep... and cut again!
