sleeping dreams

Honestly - i can say i sleep as much as i can whenever i can... i LOVE to sleep.. i used to have alot of dreams more like nightmares when i was younger.

But as i grew older i understood these to be my sub conscious interpretating my fears into dreams.

I really believe that when you dream... and you feel the power of those dreams..or certain key elements of the dream  that stirs up feelings and emotions.. like you actually FEEL them almost as though they are real.. those elements actually mean something more.

when you keep having fr example recurring dreams.. and you wake up in sweat usually means something in your daily life is worrying you.

Everyone can really tune into their dreams. If you have a disturbing dream and you cannot figure out what it is.. you should think about the most important aspect of that dream and what it could signify.. also the feeling you felt at that moment when you replay the "movie" that happened when you were sleeping.

for example... many years ago - my boss was always preaching to me.. and my production manager was an older 70 something man who had nothing better to do in his spare time at work than to stir up the pot....amongst everyone.

I had a dream that i was at her loft. She was married with a son that she adored....i was invited to his kids party   - maybe a birthday party or something.... it was dark, red  and moody evening setting.. all the kids in high spirits... running around crazy like kids do...i went to the kitchen passing a closet on the way.. her loft had lots of storage closets hidden in the wall for the minimalistic look..for some reason i opened the closet door and saw another kid suddenly look up at me with a certain look... and her son was being stabbed over and over again by this child.. i was absolutely aghast... but i closed the door and walked on into the kitchen.

later on..everyone was looking for her son.... i am shamed to say  that i did not say a thing... it was weird because i am quite reactive normally.

Dream ended.

i was totally shaken for days by this dream.. not knowing whether or not to tell this to my colleague.... i was trying to figure out why...and why....

I worked out that there was no blood.. the motion of stabbing was the greatest motion in this dream... and me also closing the door and walking on by.. i was very calm.

Weeks later my boss was let go and replaced by another person whom i heard was bought in to replace her ...

The child represented the 70 yr old man who loved to stir.... and constantly backstab her and everyone else... he had been lettin out rumours all the time that she was not doing her job etc .. blah blah.. - he was damned good and experienced at his job and a really good guy.. but i think he was just bored and wanted to have fun at the expense of others and he talked about everyone  in some manner.

The fact it was her son represented something close at heart to her.. and her job too.. she was always agonising over designs...and striving for perfection.

Me walking by and not saying a thing... was me being diplomatic.. and professionally not sharing what i heard thru office rumours and politics particularly as it was about my boss.

i was still aghast by this dream and i ended up telling her as i was really afraid that it might have been something else as this would have been absolutely devastating.

have you ever had any deja vus?? or premonitions?

wow, that's an eerie dream, but your interpretation makes total sense. sometimes I do get the feeling of deja vu, but i'm never sure if it's something that's happened before, or something i've dreamt about... I have such a bad memory that I can't remember.
