HEADTOPPINGS....serving you something extra yummy!

We have been posting lots of bits and bobs over the past several months on what we have been doing..and for those of you that have been following our journey - THANK YOU.... so now here's the HeadToppings collection... we are like busy elves... and these just keep on popping

We want to bring awareness that fashion nowadays isn't about fast fashion cheap fashion as much as we all may love it. .but it is alot to do with your daily choices that you make that will affect tommorrow. We just want to help bring awareness to how the fashion cycle is currently and the changes that need to be made.... and support local design. There's alot of fabulous talent out there.

Fashion is one of the world's largest contributors to waste in our environment in many forms. We want to use fashion as a platform to make people think before they buy and to look at the alternatives as well as to help others.Fashion is what we know.

We started this project out of love because we wanted to use fashion to help less advantaged communities in asia.. so essentially this started out as a project to help Asia by being made right here.

We have been collecting alot of excess silks and and adding to our growing collection of fabrics - much of it unwanted and very yet still very precious.

It's not a home craft project for us- we want it to be appealing and have talent help make this project real and sustainable so we can continue to do fab things through fashion that ethical and eco fashion does not have to be just another teeshirt... or a organic casual dressing... it can fun, occasion, bridal, one of a kind and just plain gorgeous...and at the same time - the skill level that is required - we can also work on training workers to acquire better skills that will in turn allow them more opportunities in life...some can be quite basic and what we may take for granted - freedom, food, family, medical, education... to name a few

so here's a few of my FAVS.. there are so many that have been created.. and each one is an absolute JOY.... extra YUMMY.

A bit of Bridal fever.. great for brides who want to be ethical..... we can actually help you to

recycle/ upcycle your dress!!

This one is made from handwoven  CAmbodian silk.. LOVE the color!!
