Tis the season of good will and cheer...and a bit of ranting.
Somehow as time progresses, it doesn't feel as christmasy as when u are a child and u look forward to wearing something new, or wondering what your parents/ friends bought for you... family gatherings and get togethers.
Christmas spirit.. now it's about the sales and the presents that we feel we need to buy because someone bought or will buy for you. Extra pressure. Where's the surprise factor?
Should we wait until the January sales? is that so wrong... retail chain reaction. Sucks.
Where's the Christmas tree?
This year make it different. 10 steps to help you on your way
Give some cheer - Clean house and donate some of your excess and make someone happy
get a present for loved ones that you don't secretly want. Not an expensive one. something simple for a change.
make a christmas/ holiday card instead of buying them..... yes all by YOUR LONESOME
go decorate a plant but don't kill it!
Call home and let them know you are alive... and be NICE..don't ask for anything.
plan a christmas get together instead of waiting for turkey and trimmings
Don't get wasted on NYE
plan a special new years day. try something different. Think of the something beautiful that you want to see at the beginning of the year.
sack the resolutions - no one ever sticks to them. NO MORE LISTS
simplify your life and dump the baggage.. make room for more excess that is going to come
