the term "Orphan Diseases" refers to the thousands of rare diseases and disorders neglected by thepharmaceutical industry and mainstream medical community due to its relatively low prevelance levels (not that low in reality 1 in 20,000 people) ... which make them non-profitable to research and develop treatments for ... we live in a shitty society .... we need to raise the awareness to rare disorders and finding diagnoses and treatments ...
