a model landscape of the tombs of the 13 Ming emperors ...

Hou Hai 后海 (beautiful lakes and traditional hutongs by day / bars and bands by night)
Panjiayuan Antique & Flea Market 潘家園舊貨市場 (buzzing on Saturdays and Sundays) .... the area I'm living
Wangfujiang & Donhuamen (Night Market / Eat Street) 東華門街王府井大街西邊
Can you spot the hungry fat git?
SOHO Jian Wai 建外 (Beijing's Roppongi)
Wanjing 798 Art Village 望京 798 (Studios, Gallery / Cafes / Wine Bars, Gift & Book shops)
Gong Ti Bei Lu - Stadium Area 朝陽區工體北路 (Beijing's Club Scene)
Beihai Park 北海公園 (nice lakes and scenery)
Long Tan Hu Park 龍潭湖公園 / Beijing Amusement Park
Beijing Subway system is great ... you can travel to anywhere on the whole network for just 2rmb ... and they are opening more lines this year .... it's ace!
For those interested, Wu Dao Kou is the station for Tsinghua & Beijing Universities
Lately i believe i'm getting more and more enigmatic (sadly, not by choice) ... a horizontally challenged man of many confused, yet complex layers amidst extrem
