reading these weeks's newspaper is pretty boring, all the headlines are about EDC's case. honestly, those pictures are quite disgusting (yes, i saw them on the internet, so what!) but who are we to judge the others. who can come up front and say out-loud that we never did a sin, crime once in our life. maybe, he was wrong, maybe he was not. they all are adults when the incident happened. there is nothing wrong for an adult to have a sex life and how they enjoy their sex life, as long as they were doing it voluntary. this is their private life and did they harm anyone with that? - i doubt it. it is not like he mediated or drugged those girls to take those pictures. the only issue involved in this case is - moral. but who can define moral! only god can. i am not saying what he did is right, nor is wrong. it is just who are "we" to judge. he was stupid enough to let those pictures out and now he is paying the price. all i can say is that - either he is too stupid, careless or too self-in-love.
maybe there is another issue - being an idiol, a public figure should behaved well coz there are a lot of people out there look upon you. yes, this is true. but think it carefully, he did not commit any crime (at least not a crime like stealing, killing, drugging...etc, the crime that is defined by today's world standard). plus, his image always represents 'rebellion" and that what people like him about. "different", right! and those girls, yap, they didnt have the guts to face the results. but who will have such guts after such incident disclosed. i bet not even 99% of girls would have such guts.
To me, i appreciate the actors who do well on stage and in front of the camera. you need a lot of talent, confidence to stand up right in the front. i also admire the ones who are "different" and have guts. their personal life, being an ordinary people, of course, i do sometimes, like to gossip and know more. but who are we to interfere? being an actor is their job, living on their private life is because they are human being.
indeed, i dont think he needs to confess or do anything to the public, especially to media. he only needs to confess to the girls and police (coz now the police is involved and there is another issue, someone did steal those pictures. he does need to help the police to solve such crime), other than that, it is not his responsbility to hold a press conference, interview with the media. put it this way, there is no public interests nor public conflicts in this incident. it is just an incident.
for those who think they mis-judge the girls, sorry, you are the one who are being naive. the girls are selling their image not their true soul to you. as long as they did their job great, why bother to know their other half life. who on earth does not have a dark side of life? as i said earlier, who are we? who are we to judge? who did not do anything wrong once in their life? and for the ones who play so innocent and righteous, my best advice is - not to look at those pictures. if you did look at those pictures, even once, you already is someone who cannot judge coz you are helping the crime (the satisfaction of "killer" who put up all those pictures on the internet), you are already part of it.
once again, who are we? for the love of god - mercy him and the girls.
