i only worked for Vacheron Constantin for a very short time, it was after 97 miss hong kong. i got the job as an assitant wholesale manager (actually, when i first started, there were only few people working in the VC office, therefore, the title wasnt important, we all have to do everything but it was fun, Julien Lepeu (chow man ki's boyfriend), used to work with me. actually, he was under the supervision of my girlfriend, julie, back then, he was only a trainee and both of us always make fun of him and boss him around. i saw him in Vegas a while ago and he seems to change a lot, we all did).

anyway, the system goes like this, there is a big group called "Richmont", which buys all the name brand from the world, it has more than dozen of name brands now, Cartier, Baume and Mercier, Piaget, Yves Saint Laurent,....and of course, Vacheron Constantin. when i first started, i used to work at Cariter in the export department, later on, Richmont bought VC and my boss at Cartier recommended me to the director of VC, therefore, i got the job at VC.

at the same time, TVB signed me and i thought i could work as a part-time there and kept my job at VC (coz they told me i was assigned to Mark Six programme). the mark six programme starts at 7 pm on tuesday and thursday, so i told myself i can leave work earlier on both days and do the mark six. then, i found out i have to rehearsal (damn, who need rehearsal for mark six, huh....) and had to be in happy valley at 4pm. finally, i have to quit my job at VC and became a full-time entertainer. but at the beginning, it was quit a mess, i had to continue to work at VC (coz it wasnt easy to find a person to replace me....ha) and started my entertainment career. actually, TVB almost logged me (some kind of warning notice) because i couldnt show to work,....

i am glad that i used to work for name brand company coz it changed my vision and i made a lot of friends there. and i am so used to all those name brand stuff which changed me for not buying any. you can buy a cartier wallet for less than 300 hkd, a couple hundred hkd for a YSL ball-pen, few hundreds for a Cartier trinity ring.... then, you realize you are paying so much extra for the middleman (they produce the products in either france, switzerland, spain...etc, then transfer them to the headquarter in france and then france transfer the products to asia headquarter, then the asia headquarter disturb to the wholesalers around asia, then the wholesalers disturb to the retailer... finally to the consumer. imagine each step takes a 50% profit, what is the production price, - you tell me).
