Below are samples of NEW IDENTITY PROJECT.

New Identity is the first documentary that focuses on Transsexuals in Thailand, employing ethnography, sociological, and psychological approach. Transsexual number has recently reached an alarming point in Thailand, where gay youths as young as 12 undergo surigal prosedures to have their testicles removed and taking hormones.

I am interested in understanding their complex lives and idenity as female and how they perceive themselves.

I hope this project will raise some awareness and bring more understanding to this misunderstood group of people.
